PROCEDURES

1. Measure the Distance of the lifts(constant)(meters);from the floor to the table top.

2. Attach the strings to the books.

3. Measure the force to lift the books with the spring scale(newtons) to the top of the table.

4. Calculate the WORK to lift the books. (joules). W = F x d.

5. RECORD the DATA .

6. Measure the force to lift the books using the pulley to REDIRECT the force.

7. Calculate the WORK to lift the books with the pulley. (joules). W = F x d.

8. RECORD ans SHARE DATA.
